On 28 June 2019, the Komenda business zone hosted the 1st Tadej Pogačar Cup with more than 130 cyclists coming to the start line. The visitors to this criterium race around a 1100 m course saw the competitions in four categories: U17 boys did 21 laps, WU17/women junior racers and women elite racers did 18 laps, while men’s junior race was 27 laps long. The Cup culminated in men’s elite race, which had the racers do 36 laps for a total of 39,6 km.

The Adria Mobil riders dominated in men’s U17 and junior categories. Urška Žigart won the women’s race, while Luka Mezgec blew the competition away in the Elite/U23 category. The 2nd and the 3rd place on the podium were taken by Tadej Pogačar and Jan Polanc. Slovenian cyclists pulled off great performance in all four races.
