Nepozabna 9. etapa v Andori

Wonderful Stage 9 of La Vuelta 2019!

Tadej Pogačar has won a stage in excellent way. Tough Andorra stage provided spectacular day for riders and fans. Tadej has been climbing really well and when the storm came down, he was suddenly in the top position for a stage win.

»I am super happy with a stage win. It was a very tough day with many climbs and relentless pace through it. In the race final there were many attacks, which I had some difficulties to follow but I stayed in my pace to control the effort. Later on we were flying on the dirt road of the stage. I was there with Quintana who I had to follow. After storm came down I was feeling really well so I attacked and with 1,5 kilometer to the finish I knew I will win the stage. What a great feeling.«
